Robert E. Lee, MBA, CCIM

Principal & Managing Partner

As the founder of SIG Equity partners, Lee oversees the strategic direction and day to day operations of SIG. Lee has an extensive international network of investors and brokers, Lee’s primary focus is overseeing the sourcing, syndication, and structuring of private equity for SIG and the strategic relationship development for its’ sponsor partners. Lee also handles the equity placement for family offices, hedge, and private equity funds around the country.

Lee has extensive experience in multiple product types as commercial real estate investment advisor with some of the larger national firms including Sperry Van Ness, Colliers International, and KW Commercial. After developing and managing his own small portfolio of student housing units in the south east Lee decided to leave the corporate world in the late 90’s to pursue his passion working with entrepreneurs and real estate investors who believe in the development of long-term relationships, and helping them formulate and execute real estate strategies for their business’s and personal wealth and legacy creation.

In regards to industry involvement, Lee has served as President, V.P. and Sponsorship Chair for the Greater Southern California CCIM chapter is a graduate of CCIM’s International J.W. Levine Leadership Academy.  Lee is also a graduating member of NAIOP's 2006 YPG academy.

Lee holds  his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation , A BA from Eastern Kentucky University, and an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business & Management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and finance.  Lee is a California Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Matthew M. Jensen

V.P. Investor Relations | Principal

Mr. Jensen handles investor relations for SIG. Jensen’s primary focus is overseeing the sourcing and placement of equity for  SIG’s multifamily and redevelopment  investments. Jensen has worked for national home builders such as KB Homes and has extensive experience in luxury residential and commercial auction and accelerated marketing programs. The accelerated marketing programs throughout this declining market place have helped developers, regional banks, builders and high net worth individuals not only liquidate assets but also maximize price with minimum time in the market place.

Jensen’s previous experience in luxury residential allowed him to play an instrumental part  in helping athletes and celebrities relocate. Jensen has worked with athletes from the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Anaheim Ducks. Jensen has been featured on Nightline, Good Morning America, Fox Television and HDTV. Jensen holds a BA from the University of San Diego, with a major in Media Communications, Minor in Educational Leadership.

Aaron DeCollibus

Director of Investments & Acquisitions

Aaron DeCollibus is the Director of Investments for SIG Equity Partners, LLC.  He manages the valuation arm of SIG, which performs the due diligence analysis of potential investment opportunities.  In addition, he sources opportunities from bank asset managers, real estate brokers and principals.   He has worked in various capacities in the real estate industry for the past 10 years.

Currently Aaron is pursuing his M.B.A. in the Fully Employed Program at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management with a concentration in Finance. He holds a B.A. degree from Macalester College, and is a California Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Constantino Kombosch, MBA

Director of Business Development

Mr. Kombosch has over 10 years experience in commercial real estate investing through his family business. His professional background includes forecasting, data analysis, and supply chain management in the automotive industry.  Kombosch‘s responsibilities include formulating and implementing business processes, strategies, and support of critical investor management and reporting infrastructure systems.

Mr. Kombosch holds a B.S. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A degree with an emphasis in Finance from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University.

Michael Cashin, MBA

Net-Lease Investment Advisor

Michael transitioned from an internship into a full time advisor with  SIG Equity Partners after receiving his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu, where he has excelled in a variety of disciplines including statistical analysis and organizational behavior.

Internship & Career Opportunities

SIG Equity Partners actively works with internship programs local universities. SIG Equity Partners has given individuals the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge into the real estate industry by creating an internship program for both acquisitions and operations teams. Depending on the individual’s interests, he/she is placed on a team and is paired up with a SIG principal. From there, they will be taught basic and necessary day to day skills from underwriting investment packages and researching due diligence, to creating operational budgets and gearing up leasing and marketing events.
